The Ravens kicked off their third week of organized team activities Monday afternoon with temperatures feeling closer to training camp.
Baltimore is scheduled for four straight days of practice during this final week of OTAs.
Lamar Jackson was one of about a dozen veterans who didn't practice Monday, including players who are currently dealing with injuries.
The Ravens' injury report may have grown, as safety Beau Brade left practice early after inadvertently colliding with a defensive teammate on a deep throw down the sideline. Brade slowly walked off the field with the help of a trainer.
Head Coach John Harbaugh was not scheduled to speak with reporters after practice, so there was no update on Brade's status. The Ravens are already without safety Ar'Darius Washington, who suffered a torn Achilles earlier this offseason.
Here are more notes from Monday's practice:
- Cornerback T.J. Tampa made an impressive interception on a throw down the seam from Cooper Rush that was intended for tight end Charlie Kolar. The ball was a bit behind Tampa, but he reached back for the snag. Tampa also broke up an end zone pass later in practice. The 2024 fourth-round pick is looking to stand out after injuries limited his rookie season to just seven games.
- Fresh off his contract extension, Rashod Bateman led the wide receivers with an active practice, making several nice grabs over the middle, including a big gain between the hashes on the first 11-on-11 play of practice.
- Rookie wide receiver LaJohntay Wester made the best catch of practice, diving to haul in a pass over the middle with a defender on his back.
- His interception was a bit of a gamble, but Rush had a particularly sharp practice leading up to that throw. He was dialed in and accurate.
- Rookie safety Malaki Starks crashed down to break up a short pass intended for tight end Isaiah Likely, who Starks called the toughest offensive player to cover thus far during OTAs. Likely also caught a long touchdown pass despite a hold from a defender later in practice.
- The Ravens worked on their screen game for a good chunk of the early portion of 11-on-11 work. Keaton Mitchell made a one-handed snag on one out of the backfield. Rookie outside linebacker Mike Green was in perfect position to blow up another intended for Rasheen Ali. Green also stopped Wester on a jet sweep.
- Both rookie kickers, Tyler Loop and John Hoyland, were perfect on their attempts in an early portion of practice, simulating a situation in which the Ravens needed a game-tying kick at the end of regulation. They weren't long attempts, but Senior Special Teams Coach Randy Brown applauded the execution all around.
A second-year wide receiver made his case for more offensive snaps, and two free agent signees participated in a Ravens practice for the first time.

K Tyler Loop
Loop hasn't kicked every day at OTAs, but his showing has been impressive. The Ravens' sixth-round pick made 6 of 6 field-goal attempts Friday, including a 60-yarder. Loop has answered the bell thus far.

S Malaki Starks
Starks came away with an interception toward the end of Friday's practice and continued to get valuable reps throughout the week. As noted by Defensive Coordinator Zach Orr, the Ravens' first-round selection has begun to build chemistry with Kyle Hamilton in hopes of becoming one of the league's premier safety duos.

NT John Jenkins
Jenkins put on a Ravens helmet for the first time this week. Listed at 6-foot-3 and 327 pounds, the 35-year-old wasn't hard to spot on the practice field. He looked the part to be Baltimore's next big-bodied, run-stuffing defensive tackle to replace the retired Michael Pierce.

CB/S Jalyn Armour-Davis
Armour-Davis saw snaps at safety throughout the week. He batted the ball down near the line of scrimmage Friday, and Orr called him the smartest player in the defensive back room.

WR Devontez Walker
With the Ravens' top three wide receivers absent from Friday's practice, Walker stepped up to the plate. He hauled in several passes, including over-the-shoulder and toe-tapping TD catches Friday. That performance came after he already flashed in the first two practices of the week.

FB Lucas Scott
Scott, a former offensive lineman at Army, had a few catches throughout the week. Patrick Ricard signed a one-year deal to stay in Baltimore this offseason, and Scott has been working alongside him to learn the ropes of the fullback position.

CB Reuben Lowery
An undrafted free agent, Lowery was a ballhawk in the last two practices of the week. He made a bobbling interception in the back of the end zone Thursday and then came up with another interception Friday.

QB Cooper Rush
With Lamar Jackson not present during Week 2 of OTAs, Rush received plenty of snaps as he continued to get his feet wet in the Ravens' offense. Rush's accuracy was on display, fitting balls into tight windows, especially during Friday's red zone drills.

RB Keaton Mitchell
It didn't take long to notice how quick Mitchell looked during the first week of OTAs, and Week 2 was no different. The former undrafted free agent has fully recovered from his knee injury and wants to be the Ravens' primary kick returner. After recently hitting 22.4 miles per hour during sprint sessions, he certainly has the speed to do so.

CB Nate Wiggins
Wiggins has added 10 pounds this offseason and has been present at every day of OTAs. Now up to 185 pounds, the former first-round selection had an interception and a pass breakup in Friday's practice.
